Often viewed as the Slough of Canada because of its high crime rate - the worst offender being gang activity concerning the infamous Disjoncteurs, very low rents, many shady dealings and the majority of British and African immigrants residing in the streets and interesting venues it has, Throwbeech is one of the very few impoverished neighbourhoods next to northeast Carbon Heights and Pride Court which makes it sound shocking considering that the Disjoncteurs are always at war with the Sapphire Fang Mafia due to their older leaders having similar ambitions over conquering each others' territories, dominating their businesses and the former gang's hostile attitude towards the latter's therian bloodline. Although the Disjoncteurs are highly prominent, there is also the Southern Heights Rollers gang set Throwaway Rollers and the Burgundy Stars Revolution that only possess smaller portions of territories.
Should one set foot on this neighbourhood, police will advise civilians to not hang around too long during the night unless they are unfortunate enough to encounter any possible sightings of feral therianthrope activities, theft, drugs trades and intense gang warfare. This is often the reason why many shops close at 21:30, which is stemmed from famous blues musician Ryan Malpass' habit of doing that to prevent any more shopliftings.
