If one wants to see Gangabawie's melting pot of the entertainment industry, real estate, trades and transit centres, Carbon Heights is for them. There is a wide variety of talent agencies, beautiques, community centres, culture clubs, social clubs, bars, schools, libraries, places of worship for all religions and sports facilities. As well as a good majority of Canadians roaming around, there is also a majority of First Nations people and Eastern Europeans residing in this area. By late 2027, half a portion of British immigrants with decent income moved here due to the combined mass infections of Cyclobatulis and vampirism. There is also a great business monopoly going on around Carbon Heights, with many big business entities providing the Gangabawan economy with extra stability and productivity. By March 2029, an American business empire named Peckham Inc. has joined the games and has pitted itself against First Nations conglomerate Speared Feathers Enterprises along with many other Canadian business empires within Gangabawie.

Carbon Heights has several different separate communities: Slavic Village, Lost Country, Blackwolf, Financial and Wall Market. Slavic Village is an Eastern European enclave which is home to many butchers, moneylenders, bookshops and the majority of Jews. The Lost Country was another area resided by First Nations people until migrant gangs from the Middle East flourished to the area and exterminated many of them to keep it for themselves, leaving only a small Iroquois militia known as the Bloodhoofs to remain within and around the Lost Country, even to the point of robbing non-Iroquois First Nations residents who dare to set foot on their territory. Financial and Wall Market are basically high retail districts for plenty of good businesses, with the latter being home to a good portion of American immigrants, including the businessmen who are in good terms with famous Texan tycoon Gavin Henry Peckham.

No crime was even there prior to the Therian Mutation Incidents and the unsuspected invitation of migrant caravans from Mayor Bonhomme that are currently sited to the northernmost parts of this district, which was largely responsible for the rapid growth of illegal immigrants from Pakistan and Bangladesh residing in Pride Court and the invasion of the Pakistani fundamentalist militia Kingdom of Swords, who even possessed only a large amount of territory in one of the encampments just outside Carbon Heights below the 2nd encampment. Crime was only low by the time the Southern Heights Rollers and Club 14 arrived on 4th January 2010 and then a minor Eastern European gang named the Launchers waged war with the latter gang during Christmas time from that year. But nearly 7 years later by the time the Quebecois ultranationalist group Saviours of Normandy arrived to Gangabawie from the coast of their beloved province to meet with their Disjoncteur allies and the Kingdom of Swords made their base, civilians witnessed series of terrorism, assault, extortion, manslaughter and bribery. Even though debt collection is a legal practise, a handful of firms and companies in the northernmost, southernmost and easternmost parts of Carbon Heights have been abusing their powers over their customers, the most prominent ones that are owned by Club 14 and the Launchers. Overall, crime has increased by 38.7% although Carbon Heights still falls behind Throwbeech and Pride Court. Nonetheless, the residents enjoy the high life of the district as always and decide to put up with it as best as they can.
