Okay the artwork here isn't the best but I tried. :P

So continuing where we left off...

Maribella was about to walk back to her house, but then a few frogs caught her eye, so she decided to sit under a tree and watch the frogs hop around, as she sat there, she wondered who the thief was and why he was so reluctant to tell her who he was.

"Did he have friends that ratted him out?" She thought to herself, "Or maybe he wasn't careful and got found out by someone?". Maribella kept wondering why the thief was that reluctant to trust her.

Meanwhile, the thief was rowing his small boat, just trying to get back "home", but he didn't have a home, he was just a wanderer. Then the waves started to get a little rowdy, and the thief was starting to get concerned.

"What should I do? Row my boat faster? I guess that's my best option." So the thief started to row faster and faster and then so fast he couldn't see the waves were getting worse. Even worse he wasn't paying attention. The thief turned around to see what was behind him, he saw a rock in the middle of the water, it was a big rock that could easily destroy his boat, he tried going around it but it was all for nothing. His boat clashed into the rock and was destroyed, the stream was furiously pulling at the thief but he managed to cling onto a smaller, but still big rock, he also managed to save his bag. But he couldn't get out of the stream himself, he was going to need someone to help him.

"God, I hate bringing attention to myself." The thief spoke to himself, "But I don't want to die!". The thief then started to yell out for help, "Hey! Is anybody there?! Can someone please help me?! Help me please! I'm going to drown!", the thief yelled as loud as he could.

Maribella wasn't far, so she could hear the thief screaming for help. Although she didn't know who it was at first she knew she couldn't let the person drown. So she ran to where she heard the yelling and found the thief barley clinging onto a rock with his bag.

Maribella quickly took off her shoes and socks just in case she had to get in the water. "Sir! Throw your bag to me!" she shouted, the thief threw his bag and Maribella was able to catch it and lay it down safely. "Now sir! Try standing on the rock.", the thief used all of his strength to get on top of the rock, but as he tried the water got stronger and pulled him from the rock, although the thief was able to grab onto and edge from the land, he couldn't keep holding on for long, so without thinking twice, Maribella decided to take a risk and get in the water to save this thief.

She was swim to him and able to grab onto him, "Okay, you're gonna have to help me out a little, we have to swim together!" Maribella shouted, the thief had enough strength to swim a bit, so together they went underwater and swam, they were able to get on the rock, and then as Maribella was holding the now tired thief, she jumped to the safe land with the thief, although it was a bit of a harsh landing, they made it out safe.
