Hi, I'm Aleks. I'm a 17 year old artist who is aiming to go to college to be an illustrator. I have taken art courses at school since my freshman year. My skills are still a work in progress but they are getting there. I have taken Ap art once but I am taking it again this next school year. Just thought I would give some information about myself before I described the piece.
I wanted to make this contest harder on myself by not using colors I picked, but by using the random color generator. I did the 5 marker option twice for a total of 10 markers. these were my results https://twitter.com/Cornfiles/status/872116871172161537 . It made it so much harder but the results that came out of it was great and I had a lot of fun working on it. My sister is the one who told me the painting I should have done because she wanted mine to be different than the others. I wanted to do the Rick and Morty style because I admire the cartoon style of the show, I also just enjoy the show endlessly. I'm probably at my 20th rewatch of season 1 and 2. But anyway, I enjoyed finding the ways to use the colors I was given and hope this was a time worth spent.
