I felt like if I did draw Doc with a mohawk, it would be messy, choppy, and kind of ragged, as if he wasn’t really taking the upmost care of it. He’s probably too busy.

Which is funny, considering I preferably give him the cleanest hairstyle ever, which started as a joke, but with a mohawk, it’s the messiest.
