This was something I did on some Christmas, I forget which one at this point. I was experimenting with a sort of pop-up style to make the characters look like flat 2D occupying a space (think paper mario). I definitely didn't accomplish the effect as good as I wanted in this drawing. I should go back and try again sometime, since that is a style I am interested in. Originally this was going to be a bit more comic-like, with the joke being that none of these three characters can speak english, and have extremely unpleasant voices. That is still the joke, but unless you are well acquainted with my obscure and bad characters then you wouldn't really guess.
