this time the old coot and his partner the mimic surrounded by captain saltbeard and her goons

it was kind of a big commissiion to work on since the characters were supposed to be surrounded by lackeys wich i had to design aswell. there was some back and forth between ND and me to determine the look of them i kinda had the Rose rock pirates of Zack and wiki in mind for them making them all similar so i can reduce the ammount of work, plus it helps them not stand out too much from the main focus of characters, ND mentioned they looked like potatoes so it kinda fit the salt theme of the captain, so he decided itd be fun to have one of them look like a french fry but be the toughest of them all, taking all that in consideration the piece slowly started taking shapeOriginal sketch
