4 days ago, when Undertale Yellow, the Undertale fangame got released, I began playing it. Not only that but I've also been falling in love with one of its characters: Martlet. Martlet is a female blue bird with wings as her arms and she is known to be rather dimwitted and lazy but friendly towards humans. Since I've been lusting for this particular character, I thought that I'd make fanart of her using my own pixel art style. You know, as I checked the Undertale Yellow Wiki (as of Dec 14, 2023), the description of the outfit Martlet wore includes wearing "two brown boots over her feet, with a cotton trim" as well as "dark blue pants". It's funny how the description did not include a top for Martlet. Seeing her official design for Undertale Yellow (both in-game and promotional), I was unsure about whether she was wearing a shirt or not, given her bright blue torso. So just in case she isn't wearing a shirt, tank top or whatsoever, I added a yellow bikini top to her design to cover her chest. At least most players didn't consider it to be nudity when in Undertale Yellow, Martlet didn't seem to be wearing a top at all because in real life, birds don't even have nipples (unless if you talk about the Berdly statue from Deltarune Chapter 2).

I have added a second version of the artwork, which is Martlet in her shirt. Lately last month, I have found additional information from the Undertale Yellow Wiki that Martlet "wears a greyish blue sleeveless shirt". Hence, I made a change to Martlet's official sprite design. However, to me the shirt Martlet was wearing looked more white in color than it is blue-gray. The shirt was a bit boring so how about a Yellow human SOUL at the center of the shirt? I also implemented the new design as a response to some mixed or negative reviews for the artwork (as of making this edit, the current score is 3.04 out of 5 stars), mainly those who were uncomfortable with Martlet in a suggestive outfit.
