As has been shown before, Skate HATES the cold under normal circumstances. Of course, the thing that makes this situation even worse for him in particular is that on top of being cold-blooded, the mucus in his skin freezes and bonds with the ice. Jacki's tolerance is naturally way higher, but even she has her limits...
