Honestly I'm not sure if this is pixel art - cause I don't consdier it in the traditional sense. I used to make Minecraft Assets for modteams and I'd do legit pixel art there. This is just me using a crunchy brush and taking advantage of rough forms. Objectively - it's pixel art from a pixel perspective. But I treat pixel art as part of a method as apposed to a straight up medium. As to an extent all art is pixel art if its not all math'd up.

Another way for me to try to put it is Pixel Art has a high emphasis on pixels and the importance of pixels. It's about silhouette of contrast and maximizing definition with vagueness. This art doesn't really put emphasis on each pixel, it's not as vague with its information and its a bit sloppier due to its potential for more information

In the end I'll submit to whatever definiton of pixel art is here and select the pixel art label if you/others think it's for the best.
