Another year of October is upon us and Halloween is just a mere 30 days away! This is my favorite time of year because of all of the spooky and macabre art that coats the internet. There are so many cool character designs and concepts to see. So many inventive and cool costumes by fellow artist cospalyers. As well as the best part, the monsters and folklore that comes along with this time of year. 

So, every year during this time I like to create character designs based off of staple Halloween creatures. Such as with this piece here, Phoebe. The first time I drew her was in October of 2018 and she quickly became one of my favorite characters. Fast forward to 2020 and I came up with the idea to redraw this character every October to see the progress I make as an artist throughout the year. Which is a really great confidence boost as an artist. This being because I spend so much time practicing and studying, I am able to actually see the progress with fresh eyes for the year. In 2022 this will be the fourth time that I have redrawn this character and I feel really happy with the final result. I still don't have a backstory done with this character yet. However, I do plan on making one soon. As well as, with the other Halloween characters I have in mind. 

This year is going to be a big one. With a lot of content coming out for anyone watching. Every day will have something new and I look forward to sharing everything I have been working on with everyone!
