MK:M311

MK:M311 belongs to KryptidKitten

The penultimate robot to be finished.

Realisation set in from R&D that despite how tough the war machines were, their vintage designs could very easily turn against them and so the decision to create a bot to aid all of the others was made. MK:M311 is the medic of the war machines, the one to get them out of fatality on the battle field quick and easy and then go back to aiding from the back, safe from being damaged them self. They were given four arms to allow for more flexibility when dealing with the internals of their comrades aswell as to speed up their process. The two arms on the upper sides are the main ones M311 uses with the two bottom arms acting more as a supporting cast for the finer details inside or small screws and such on the outside. The positioning of the arms is also very intentional, M311 is an entirely air support meaning they will hang back in the arm and pepper down onto forces before being called to an RSM to help fix and typically they will always hover above the RSM so they can cover fire for them while being repaired. Which comes to the next mechanic, it's form of defence, on the bot's shoulders lie two boxes meant for firing down rockets. While not being very powerful these rockets can still produce a hefty explosion to disorient opponents and leaving for time for the other machines to clear out the fodder or to distract long enough to repair something. It keeps itself suspended in the air from the small boosters embedded underneath the plating of the shoulders. The wings were also apart of helping them fly better, adding more of a glide lest it's boosters malfunctioned but it was mainly to signal to other RSMs of the sign of healing. It doubly worked for enemies aswell as they have been heard describing MK:M311 as an "angel of death piercing the heavens".

The last major detail about them is the massive tanks and tesla coils attached to their back. The coils are obvious, electric shock to jolt things back to life, this functionality is routed through the bottom hands making them essentially defibrillators (and doubling as defensive lest anyone get too close). What's less obvious is the giant tanks, while one might first assume they are filled with oil or some other fuel substance they would be wrong. The Resmech series of machines runs off of a very different power source and as such desperately need it to survive as no other fuels can sustain them. Found at the core of the Earth and slowly but surely climbing up the crusts is a material named Ressoside, a quartz like crystal that contains properties that can handle any form of mechanical elements with ease. Ressoside only forms at the core and comes up when temperatures drop to below freezing meaning the only place the material is found is in Antarctica. When crushed down however, this crystal can become a weird form of liquid, the same consistency as gasoline, and be used in the same way as a fuel source without needing to be the giant crystal. The crushed Ressoside is deposited in the back tank of M311 and then through the palms of the main hands it can be siphoned directly into the fuel port of any other RSM. Why crush down the Ressoside as opposed to just using the crystals? When crushed the excess of fuel is almost quadrupled in length making it much more cost efficient and much easier to transport around and deposit. With no need for lugging around heavy material aswell it means that the designs for carriers could get even smaller with MK:M311 starting as a test sample of sorts.

But until this time comes, MK:M311 stands as the king of robotic necromancy forged from sparks.
