So I came across this pitch reel Disney TVA had in 2012 that never made it into full production called Lucky Beast. Created by Amy Winfrey & Myke Chillian the show was gonna be about A girl named Lilly who befriends a creature named Lucky who is like a living lucky charm, and every episode would be about them trying to avoid the bad luck around them.

I fancied the idea of making a mock-up screenshot of what the series would look like if it did get picked up and broadcast on a CRT TV. There is about over a minute of reel footage of the show but I wanted to draw something original for lucky beast. And on Jetix cause I run the Jetix gimmick account!

From what I saw in the concept art & reel Lucky looks like the kinda of guy to get into wacky antics so I thought he's might get himself wrapped up in bubblegum. I have Lilly looking around kinda in disbelief that the gum mess isn't too bad but UH-OH what's that in her hair? And on school picture day no less, I made an episode idea with one pic.

Fun fact when I first started making this pic I chose the CRT & Jetix theme cause I didn't see in the source this was from 2012, I thought this was from the 2000's for some reason, I guess cause the reel footage is tween based LOL. I still want a crossover with Motorcity tho...
