Project 0v0

Share

Since Ive been busy helping Squidly with Renaine, 0v0 has been a little slow. That being said, the project has been going along really smoothly. I have a few pages inked out with my really awful traditional style that you can see here.
In the future ill be showing some process videos where these sloppy ink doodles will be translated into colorful animated pixel art.
A tid bit to give you more of an idea about what project 0v0 is:
I get a lot of questions as to what sort of game 0v0 will be. How do I plan on animating these sprites? So on. I understand that when people see pixel art, they immediately jump to the conclusion that it serves a game.
Project 0v0 focuses on pixel art, and the pixel art will not be compromised by the technical problems attached to games.
Project 0v0, previously known as LIT was originally created for print as a graphic novel. This is what every single character, landscape, monster, robot, ive drawn and uploaded has been created for. This is also why ive stayed away from animating these characters, as I thought it would be misleading and didnt serve the final product any justice.
I faced a lot of challenges trying to print pixel art and distribute it. What I was making wasnt as dynamic and at the end of each day I wanted to see these characters move and interact.
What ive been working on since LIT is Project 0v0. It is animated, it will appear on screens, and you will be able to interact with it. But it is not a video game.
I look forward to sharing more with you soon!

This concept art is enough to hype me up for any game. A few of the sketches slightly remind me of Juggernaut from DOTA 2 having a few resemblances. Original either way.
Sehr awesome!

Cool! Looking forward to it!
