Prisoner 849 bids farewell to a friendly Nali as she continues her journey. 🌔🥭👋👽
I missed out on Unreal in my youth, instead getting into Half-Life and its many spinoffs and mods, as well as Unreal's own far more popular spinoff, Unreal Tournament. I played Unreal roughly a decade later and couldn't make heads or tails of its maps. I got hopelessly lost and had to noclip my way through. But even in the midst of my teenage dumbfuckery, I could tell how good Unreal was. The amazing music. The sweeping vistas. The sense of isolation, danger, and wonder. There was nothing like Unreal to come before, and maybe there won't be again.
I just replayed it this past week and virtually zero issue navigating now. It holds up almost perfectly, provided you install one of the OldUnreal fan patches.
