Don't let anyone fool you. Even the things within us that we consider as lessers or losses are not always so. Take this work here for example...

My mind was adrift while working upon it. My heart was hurting within my chest, my mind unfocused, and my feelings quite numb.

I was frustrated. Could not be pleased for the world, and so each and every line that I committed to, I could not feel satisfied. This is how it is sometimes. We are not always at our best, nor are we always so articulate or balanced as we may come to believe.

And yet there is much to be learned through these moments and times. When we are ever so unhinged and vulnerable. Bitten upon and clawed at by our anxiety, our fears, and raw emotions. Frustration and despair need not only be a loss to us. It can serve us in other ways...

By the time this work was finished, I could hardly look at it really. Could hardly stomach it. But I took a hard look, and my eyes endured...

...Now...today..I look upon it and I see something akin to...magic. We are more than our doubts, and lowly times as these are simply that...just times. Endure, my friends. Endure with grace so that as you turn back eventually with different eyes..you may be pleased beyond the pains.
