Sprigatito was the Pokemon I needed to draw, but Adaman is who I've been most excited for. Legends: Arceus has been an incredible game so far, with incredible characters, and you can bet your left shoe I'll draw more for it if I have the time.

I picked Adaman over Irida when the choice came down to it, and his involvement at Spear Pillar really stuck with me. What must it be like to receive the voice of a deity you've worshipped since a young age? One you've modeled your world views around? Just seeing Dialga with his own eyes must have been incredible, but to be chosen by it for direct contact? Being entrusted with his almighty's words?

It was a huge moment for Adaman in the story, but I feel like it was probably also a huge moment for him personally. So of all the Leafeon cuddles and hot boi poses I could've picked from, I decided to draw this scene. Bless the Nintendo Switch for having a screenshot gallery, so I could grab all the art refs I needed from gameplay.
