Despair-Chan's Story

Share

There's a reason why she became Despair-Chan.

Her real name is Neichā Ninfu. She lived in a farm with her father near the woods and she was cheerful bsck then.

She loves growing plants and she keeps an eye on the garden to make sure nothing dies in it.

She loves the farm animals too. Feeding them is one of her favorite hobbies.

Neichā is shy though whenever people wanna stop by and help her. She does accept their offers, but she distances herself from them.

Other than that, raising a garden is her passion.

The sad part though is that her father has health issues. He has back and heart problems and it really bothers him from his work. Neichā is very close to her father and will do anything to keep her father from overworking, even if it means doing risking work for him. She won't mind though since she loves growing crops and taking care of the animals.

One day, there was a festival and she is overjoyed take part in it.

The winner will have their farm promoted and

This was Neichā's opportunity to help her fathers farm get the recognition it deserves.

The problem with the farm is that its far from society, not much people visit the farm and since Neichā and her father need to make money (or anything at all) that they would have to trade plants, vegatables, eggs and even the farm animals to people in the city in order to make something out of it. So winning the festival would help the farm and family

Neichā is having a hard time trying to find a plant or vegetable that would be worthy enough to take to the fesrival. She's getting nervous and the festival will start at noon. Her father walks out and said with concern "What's wrong Neichā?"

She looked at her father and said with worry "I can't decide what to bring. I love all the crops equally, but I wish they can see our entire garden. Father, who should I do?"

Her father looked down for a moment but had an idea "There is a way."

They gathered vegetables that looked the most healthy and beautifully colored. They were put in baskets, and placed onto the farmers truck.

The two drove to the city where the festival is being held.

Neichā had butterflies in her stomach but is a little excited for the festival.

She turned to look at her father driving. She really admires how determined he is. She wishes to be determined just like him.

They arrived at the festival and Neichā is mindblown of how crowded it is.

Neichā and her father were setting their stand up and pulled all their crops from their truck. Something caught her fathers eye.

"Look at that game, I remember playing it a lot when I was your age." Her father said in amazment.

"You should go over there and playing for old tines sake papa! I'll take care of our stand." Neichā said with a smile.

"Are you sure you can handle it? I don't wanna leave you alone." Her father said with concern.

"I insist papa, its time for me to be a woman. Besides, you've worked so hard, you deserve to have fun." Neichā continued to smile. "Aww, ok then. I be back in an hour my little flower." Her father said with a big smile while waving.

Neichā smiled and waved back at him.

Neichā just stood there and looked at her father play at the tent in front of her stand.

Just as she's happy to see her father happily having fun, a strange man walked up to her and asked "So are you here for the festival?"

Neichā was startled, but said to the man with a stutter "Y-yes...s-s-sir..."

The man couldn't stop eyeing on her and the vegatables.

"You're wasting your time. This is nothing but a scam." The man told her.

"What?" Neichā gasped.

"The people running the festival are stingy. They are sending spies to sabotage the contestants so they don't have to spend a single penny on the winner just for having the best vegatables." The man continued.

Neichā looked at the ground in fear, she quickly said "I must tell my father."

"Don't do that, just keep it to yourself. You don't wanna ruin your fathers fun do you?" The man said with a stern tone.

Neichā looks at th e ground again.

"What am I gonna do?" She said in a sad tone.

"Follow me, I know a place where nobody will get their crops soiled. Not even those stingy rich people will ever find it." The man said with a pride smile.

"But my father...." Neichā tried to bail, but the man raised his voice

"Look lady, I was once a contestant. I had the best garden of all time, until a spy put something on my veggies and they all died and I lost. They will do the same to YOU if you don't follow me."

Neichā looked at the man and then looked at her father.

She began to put her foot down "So what if my crops get soiled. What really matters is that regardless if our vegetables are ripe or rotten, my father and I put our love into our work. So please, let us be."

The mans eye began to twitch.

The man grabbed the basket with all their vegtables and ran off with it.

"Hey! HEY!!" Neichā shouts as she chases after him.

Her scream caught the attention of a lot of people including her father.

He looks back and sees his daughter missing as well as the crops.

"NEICHĀ!" He cried.

Neichā chased after the man into the woods. She's even wondering how is he so fast while carrying a big basket if vegetables.

They were running by the train tracks.

The man stopped running and turned to Neichā with an apology.

Wait... I give up....don't call the police... I'll give these back to you. Once you do, both of us should never speak of this again." The man said as he placed the basket in front of him.

Neichā timidly walked up to it, picked it up and smiled while embracing it.

The man made a devious smile and said "Have a great time in Heaven sucker."

Neichā opened her eyes and sees the train heading her direction.

She tried to run away but her foot was stuck between the train tracks.

She screamed as the train crushes her.

The man laughs as he attempts to escape, but then Neichā's father and a few officers cornered the man.

"Freeze!!" The officer shouts.

He tried to run the other direction but everyone at the festival cornered him as well.

One officer said as he handcuffed the man "I've been looking for you for a while. You would appear in every single festival."

The criminal rolls his eyes.

The farmer looks around, sees a lot of vegatables on the ground along with pieces of the basket. He asked the criminal in anger "Where's my daughter?"

The man trembled and said "Sh-she's over there."

The man points at Neichā's corpse.

The farmer ran up to her and is horrified of what he's looking at.

The farmer started to cry as held he'll his daughters corpse.

Everyone felt sorry for the farmer.

The host of the festival made the farmer win by default not only because he did it out of pity but for saving the festival and for his daughters bravery in helping catch the criminal.

But the victory didn't matter to the farmer anymore. He blamed himself for leaving his daughter alone. A horrible price it costed him. He knew that winning the festival is what Neichā wanted to make him proud.

Despite the criminals arrest, he escaped prison and is still at large attacking festivals and killing more victims.

Because of the criminals escape, Neichā is now reincanated as a fairy Player Killer Monster Girl. She has the power to grow plants with a touch of a finger. But the train murder traumatized the poor fairy and is now feeling guilt for not staying with her father. That's why she's now called Despair-Chan.

As shy and paranoid as she is, she will find the criminal responsable for her death. She dosen't see prison enough as a punishment, mainly because arresting the criminal will cause him to escape again. So she'll take matters into her own hands and will not rest until she's through with him.
