Darkness-Chan is a loner with a dark backstory(no pun intended).

Her real name is Kage Ari. She was a part of a street gang that hangs out at night.

She is dating the gangs leader named Dāku Raion and their relationship is...complicated.

The gang that Kage is in, are responsoble for committing crimes and are considered "the most badass gang in the neighborhood" which puts her at odds with her boyfriend.

One horrible night, the gang were out to mug an woman walking down the street.

The thugs forced Kage to mug the woman.

Kage draws the line here and tells her boyfriend that attacking innocent people at night is an act of cowardice.

Dāku walks up to his girlfriend and mocks her for becoming "soft".

The other thugs agree and laugh.

Kage despises anyone who calls her soft, so she reluctantly walked up to the old lady and pretended to threaten her.

Suddenly, Kage hears footsteps behind her and sees the thugs cornering her and the lady.

Kage tells the lady to run.

The lady tries to run away but one of the thugs got her arm.

The lady shouts "HELP!!" 

Her screams woke up the neighborhood.

A man looked outside his window and sees the lady caught in the thugs arms.

The man ran inside to call the police.

"We gotta split!" Dāku shouts quickly.

The gang members ran in different directions.

Kage ran to the lady and she was badly injured.

The same man from the house shouts "You darn hooligan! Leave that poor woman alone!!"

Kage tried to explain but she can hear the police sirens getting louder.

Dāku runs up to Kage and tells her "Come on babe, let's get the hell outta here!"

Kage looked at the unconscious lady with regret. She eventually ran with her boyfriend near the woods.

The police sirens echoed through the night.

While the couple were hiding in the bushes, they hear an officer shout "Hold it right there! Everybody FREEZE!!"

Kage and Dāku can see the police arresting their followers.

"Damn those officers!" Dāku whispered in anger.

The chief officer asked the thugs "Where's your boss?"

The thugs couldn't say anything.

Eventually the chief said to the other officers "He's still at large and he's also accompanied by a young lady who assaulted an middle aged woman. Search everywhere!"

Kage and Dāku were about to slowly escape into the woods, until Dāku started coughing out loud.

The officers heard them and flashed their light on the couple.

"THERE THEY ARE!"

The couple ran into the woods.

"Damn it Dāku!" Kage shouts.

"It wasn't my fault, I'm....allergic to bushes." Dāku shouts back.

"No! You aren't allergic to ANYTHING! You're coughing because you've smoked too much!" Kage shouts even louder.

As the couple continue to argue, they came across a bridge.

Kage was nervous to go any further.

"Come on babe!" Dāku said quickly.

"Look at us! I don't understand why do we need to be criminals, this is ruining OUR future!" Kage shouts with worry.

Dāku finds this hilarious for some reason "Listen yo yourself baby girl. Look at the bright side, we'll move out of the country. We don't have to worry about those dumb cops anymore! We can do the things we love, like scoring...."

After hearing this, Kage blew up "Scoring is only what YOU ever wanna do! You never listen to me and your decisions always gets us into trouble and I'm sick and tired of it....."

Dāku STILL thinks this is hilarious "No! no! Babe, just listen to me one more time. My decision should be simple this time. Once we cross the bridge, you'll never have to listen to me again. I promise."

Kage glared at him, Dāku rarely makes or even KEEPS his promises but because of the situation, she'll have to listen.

"I'll go first." Daku said proudly.

As the couple slowly racewalked over the bridge, the cops began to shoot the couple.

One of the gunshots, burned rope that was tied to the bridge.

The bridge tumbled down. 

Dāku managed to make it to the end but Kage was hanging on the rope hanging from the ledge.

Kage looks up and sees Dāku above her.

"HURRY! MY FINGERS ARE SLIPPING!" Kage shouts.

Dāku just stares at his girlfriend with a careless glance as he pulls out a cleaver.

Kage gasps and yells "What are you doing?"

"Face it baby girl, all you ever do is drag me down and the reason is because....you're too soft! Take care!" Dāku said as she chopped the rope Kage was holding onto.

Kage fell into the dark, bottomless pit below.

Kage has now reincanated as a shadow Player Killer Monster Girl. She has the power to call the darkness and that's why she's called Darkness-Chan.

Her heart was shattered by a man she loved. Now her anger and vengeance boils whenever she has memories of that horrible night. The moment she sees her ex again, she will not hesitate to strangle him with her weapons (whip or wired rope) and (maybe) keep his head for a trophy.
