Nude Charcoal Statuette

Share

This was my first time working with a nude model. Thankfully it wasn't alive or getting the lighting down would've 100x harder.
This was actually made weeks before my skull when I discovered the wonders of vine charcoal and chamois cloth.

Very nice art

So nice artwork here and I like the structure you are working with it's a pretty decent piece you have here and a lovely piece of what you made of it so I was pretty impressed with this whole piece here the only thing I would add here would be some frames and or borders to make it like a gallery piece but it's nice work indeed

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
Some frames and borders to reflect that of a gallery piece

~X~

Feels like the body kind of melts away along with the twist, but if it's based on actual anatomy maybe ny impressionĀ“s just a bit off; not the image. Shading and overall line work looks great, and realistic marble-like cut-offs. Not bad!

I agree, I do feel like my perspective got skewed a bit toward the bottom.

There's still work to do, but the technique is already pretty impressive :D
