It's a sweltering hot day as usual on the African plains in 200,000 BC, so this early Homo sapiens woman has no need to cover herself up for warmth. Plus, I felt like drawing a naked woman today.
Fun little anecdote related to this picture: when I was drawing this at my local library, a boy around age nine to twelve asked me if he could take a peek. Unfortunately for the kid, I had to tell him it was for adult eyes only. He was cool with it, but I can't help but wonder what his reaction would have been if he had been more persistent and sneaked in a peek.
By the way, the bird soaring overhead is supposed to be an African red-billed hornbill, like the one Zazu from The Lion King is based on.
