A while back in October, I have discovered the surreal Y2K aesthetic which was prevalent from the late-90s to mid-2000s. It really intrigued me with its characteristics from the bright neon colours to the abstract 3D environments with glossy and reflective surfaces. So, using the Dynamic Sky addon and Principled BSDF node in Cycles Render, I decided to try my hand at making a 3D art-piece of three chrome rings spinning around each other as they float on top of a reflective ocean-type surface.

To add more emphasis on the nostalgic atmosphere, I included a more realistically accurate VHS effect, which I will be using in my next art projects. Also, I have been inspired to permanently redesign my profile with a Y2K-style theme, hence why I'm posting this artwork early.
