Fanart for a super obscure mid 2000's CGI cartoon that went for an off-the-wall approach with its design, Pet Alien. I still think the concept of a squash and stretch 3D cartoon has tons of potential and should be experimented. If a budget cartoon can do it effectively in my eyes, better can be done. With this piece, I took the skill I've achieved after drawing him numerous times before, this time in a digital setting and a more dynamic pose. I have my issues with it, mainly with the anatomy and some shading. Overall though, this one is somewhat of a big favorite.
Sketched traditionally, then cleaned-up and colored in Krita.
