NO AI GENERATED IMAGES

After considering both sides, I’ve concluded that I’m in solidarity with the artists that reject the influx of AI generated art (at least I n its current state) .My reasons being:

1. The artists don’t get the option to consent to their work being used as a tool for the software developers to profit from. If it was a music artists’ vocals being used to create a hit song most people would object.

2. It opens up a proverbial can of worms where software companies push the line of being able to trample over people without considering the IDENTITIES of those they are stealing from. It’s different from simply “referencing,” as a human can’t download your exact work and repurpose it.

If anyone should have an input on what is to become of their creations, it should be those responsible for making it right? If you have any ideas on how to combat this, hit my DM and put me on game!

All the tinfoil hat men and anti a.i. scientists back in the day kept trying to legitimately shutdown AI research because they were afraid it would turn on us and kill us like skynet as soon as it was generated...

Turns out they were half right but it only turned on artists and killed forms of drawing. For now anyway... Then there's the nightmare fuel it creates most of the time it amalgams something in it's current state...

Solid work with the cool pic! Definitely gets the message across.

When an artist uses AI on their own art to speed up a lot of the grind, there's no harm done there. When other "artists" just type a few prompts and jack someone else's art as a base in order to make money from it, then we have a serious issue. I'd rather not have a computerized Greg Land essentially tracing and plagiarizing the ever loving hell out of real artists.

Honestly, I foresee major lawsuits putting a kibosh to a lot of the AI-generated stuff for profit - especially when enough big artists or companies find out their copyrighted work has been stolen for someone else's gain.

The AI-art generators can be fun tools to goof off with but the fact all their end products are composed of data gathered from "real artists" makes it a more complex conundrum. One one hand it's great that creative expression is opened up to more people. On the other hand there is that looming issue of "intellectual property theft". (Certain people create an AI-art version of a real illustrator's work then try to pass it off as their own.) Regardless, this is a great piece! Like the very subtle blur effect and you are good at drawing robots in general. "Technology" is something I still struggle with on occasion.

Ai can't express human emotion just an illusion of it. Am I not against people using AI-generated images? dunno why many art sites are heavily pushing it though since it doesn't really fall under the definition of art.

Okey, I will stay using AI for images.
