October 8 is World Octopus Day. Having said that, octopuses and squid don't have conventional teeth; rather, they have a single powerful beak at the very center of their arms on the underside that, once the arms have manoeuvred their prey to the center the beak pierces through its hard shell (like with the octopus's favorite food, the crab) before injecting it with venom to immobilize it so they can take home and savor their catch.
