Its unclear to me what the green shapes jutting out of the ground are, whether they're bizarre alien flora, rock formations, or even something else entirely,

but I like that ambiguity.

It was the first thing that I noticed looking at it.

Then the ink-blot like clouds in the sky and horizon, forming a mountainous shape.

The bug-esque organism with a visor-like eye and a disproportionately sized tongue escaping from a set of seemingly vestigial teeth where a mouth might have once been many generations ago,

from its four twiggy little legs arranged in an unclear order, I can almost imagine it ambiently floating, around as if it is lighter than the density of its planet's atmosphere. the lines in the ground seem to indicate that it's making physical contact with the soil, however, either standing or maybe tamping to detect the presence of smaller organisms that live in the dirt for which its tongue could collect.
