Looks like it'll have something to do with gardening and beekeeping, am I correct? I'm excited to know more about this.

Yes, exactly. You plant seeds and grow them into Flowers wich you sell with profit. They also produce honey that you can sell or use to upgrade the beehive. For all those money from profits you build and decorate your home, wich % increase EXP you gain, increase % of your production, etc..
