After Endgame & Far From Home, I really stopped caring about the MCU for the most part. I didn't see Black Widow, I didn't see Eternals, the most I saw from phase 4 is part of Shang Chi, and a couple episodes of What If because they were played in my Modern Myth class.

I didn't think Endgame & Far From Home were the best MCU films, but the former just felt like a good ending for the series, ending Cap and Iron Man's character journeys, and the ladder film was more like the after credits scene of the MCU, giving it the possibility of being continued in 10 years later or so to give us breathing room.

But then Disney decided they wouldn't let it sit, and would milk Marvel for everything it has. Because of this there were only 2 MCU things I was looking forward to, being No Way Home, and a possible season 4 of Daredevil. The former I mostly wanted to see because of the villains from the other movies, as well as the leaks that the previous live action Spider Man actors would reprise their roles in the movie, and Daredevil would be in it.

Point is, I went into this one expecting a forgettable movie except for the fan service, but then I left the theater loving this movie. This may just be the hype talking, but I think this might be my favorite MCU film, and one of my favorite movies period (my current favorite is still zack snyder's justice league).

Tom Holland's portrayal of the spectacular webslinger just went from Miles Morales but a little more annoying, to the chad Peter Parker we know and love, and it may have given me a little more interest in the MCU again.
