Chengyu Sight Seeing BY Qilin Other Version

Share

Probbaly the most common version of this chengyu is "Zou Ma Kan Hua", but the other lsser known, more sophisticated version used "guan" instead of "kan" which upscales the vibe, but it technically is the same meaning. It's an idiom that means to go sight-seeing, but the litteral words are "To gaze upon the Flowers from Horseback". It just uses 4 characters. It uses only the word "horse" but it infers/implies horseback riding, but within an ancient times poetic rhetorical framing & phrasing.

The 2nd line is my word play alteration of the Chengyu using Qilin.

"Zou Qi Kan Lin"

Ride the Qi to gaze at the Lin. Or, Qi are for Riding, while Lin are for admiring. (Qilin)

A little bit of gender humor.

it's just me being silly, or corny.

Word play stuff.
