"Imagine if you will, a stranger walks into your town. He dazzles you, your two best friends, and fellow citizens with strange and magnificent feats of magic. Bringing clay figures to life, watching them form societies, and more. The more you and your friends spend time with him the more he shows you, but also the town seems to descend more and more into chaos. Until one day the people snap and the town collapses in a tide of violence and murder as the denizens, maddened by the stranger’s very presence in the town, descend upon each other in a bloodthirsty frenzy. You’re left to watch as your beloved town falls apart within minutes, your two friends along with it.
That is what happened in St. Petersburg, Missouri, in the autumn of 1849. One Huckleberry Finn watched as all the people around him slaughtered one another, his two friends Thomas Sawyer and Rebbeca Thatcher howling and screeching like wild animals. And standing over him, a mysterious boy and the source of the madness all around him. “All I wish is to simply reveal to you this one thing,” the boy spoke, a smile far too wide for the human face tugging at his rosy cheeks, ”; there is no God, no universe, no human race, no earthly life, no heaven, no hell. It is all a dream, a grotesque and foolish dream. Nothing exists but you. And you are but a thought, a vagrant thought, a useless thought, a homeless thought, wandering forlorn among the empty eternities!”
Later on, the alerted authorities arrived to find the small rural town already dead. Huckleberry Finn was dug out from underneath the many bodies piled up in the streets, shell-shocked and unresponsive. However, among the many bodies littered throughout the town, all the names were accounted for except for one Thomas Sawyer and Rebecca Thatcher. Huckleberry was not the only survivor it seemed. What happened to the two crazed youths? Where did they go? One can only hope that they managed to meet their end and their suffering finally ended. As for the strange boy? After spending several weeks researching other such tragedies, and collecting as much information on the subject in question, I have it on good authority that the boy who passive influence caused the St. Petersburg massacre is none other than the Outer God I’ve encountered before, both in the waking world and in my dreams. The Crawling Chaos himself.”

One of the first documented encounters with the deranged family was from a miss S. Hardesty in the 1970s. She, after calming down, told the police about the family. Describing them as these jibbering creatures in stained and foul-smelling costumes, giggling and squealing in high-pitched voices. She also described their huge underground hideout which they converted into their twisted yet colorfully decrepit carnival playground.
