Meet Roland Padlo, Locke's Best Friend.

Similar to Locke, he is an artifact and product researcher. Both work at their Local Museum researching historic artifacts and old products. (Think Antique roadshow) Sometimes he moonlights at Treyja's Shop whenever Locke can't or when he needs some extra cash.

He's a wise-cracking bachelor and loyal friend to Locke. They've known each other since kindergarten. They are workout buds, though he's much more laid back compared to Locke or Lori. He's been Locke's wingman when he was single and partially is the reason how Locke met Keia. Roland likes Keia, he has fun when all 3 of them hang out and is happy Locke has a girlfriend because he thinks Locke, "Sucks at being single."

Keia likes Roland too, she likes it that Locke has such a loyal friend. Though she's not always a fan of his multiple attempts, and failures, of trying to pick up girls. She hopes that one day he'll find himself a permanent girlfriend.

Also, yes. Roland does have the ability to grow and expand similar to Locke. Though not near the level of him and he lacks the vorish/absorbing abilities Locke has.
