The Doppelganger are a race of copycat demons that were banished to another dimension and some even ended up in hell.
One manages to escape from hell when the ancient demon Adrameleck was freed from hell along with his generals.
The Doppelganger escaped as quickly as they could and hid amongst the humans.
What the Doppelganger truly wants no one knows.
Here's the original design of the Doppelganger, not much has changed.
