Last year was the year of the bull/ox/cow, which Exoddus is half bull man half elf. This year is the year of the Tiger, and Amanda Kamiya'sb animal power is the white tiger.

Interesting enough is that these two are rivals and has been a long time since I've drawn them together showing the intensity between them.

The backstory to their rivalry goes back to when Exoddus was on the side of evil and on he first encounter with Amanda (who was with Sal Cañete and Ashley Masaki) and targeted the three intruders as the JACKAL fought against a mysterious cloaked figure.

Amanda happened to be the unfortunate one that Exoddus chose to keep pursuing and began to beat up the young blonde after her energy balls caught her in place.

Exoddus want going to kill her but was ordered by her superior the JACKAL to do so.

Exoddus was about to drive her sword into Amanda until the cloaked figure stopped her and knocked Exoddus down with a single strike.

After her defeat, she eventually left the demons and joined with Leo and his new team. Amanda was against it and called Leo out for trusting Exoddus.

Leo stood his ground and ensured not only Amanda but the others that he would keep an eye on Exoddus and would hope the others would trust her over time.

The rivalry between Exoddus and Amanda slowly goes from bitter enemies to frienemies.
