In the Mongolian desert, 74 million years ago, a lone Protoceratops walks about in the scorching desert, until seeing the huge skeleton of a long gone titan, a Mongolian titan. Which it once lived a life so well in this desert, until possibly succumbed to dehydration or starvation, it's carcass decaying away in the sand, to later be preserved or broken down.. For the Protoceratops, it continued its merry way, fascinated by the skeleton, but thanks to its little brain it got bored.
Well this was really recent art, and it's referenced from the Krayt dragon skeleton, for May the 4th and also for Protoceratops 100th birthday, an old ceratopsian. The next prehistoric creature I'll make for it's birthday with a reference will be the little pterosaur Anurognathus, so stay tuned.
