A little lore I made for this cult :

The cult of the broken is a cult made up of those who have been forgotten, marginalized or persecuted, and it follows the god of remorse, an entity that feeds on the guilt, hatred and resentment cultivated by its followers, growing stronger the more distressed they become.

Which is kind of problematic when the champion i rather seen as the "avenger" of said followers, killing those that go after them and helping them go through their emotional problems, which always end up weakening both champion and god.
