Gliscor and Bisharp have to be one of the Many coolest Pokémon designs ever, and this art nails the designs really well!

Amazing Linework! Very consistent through all your artworks!!

Two of some of my favorite 'mons! What more could I ask for?

Amazing job my friend. Two of my favorite Pokemon of all time drawn by someone so damn talented.

A few facts about competitive for any of those who care (yes I'm a nerd so what?). Gliscor didn't actually exist until Gen 4, and was introduced in Gen 2 as Gligar. Now, Gligar actually had quite a few decent qualities. It had decent bulk and its typing was amazing, giving it two immunities and only two weaknesses in water and and quadruple weakness to ice. However, the good traits ended there. Its stats were ass, and its movepool was pretty damn shallow to say the least. Thus, it languished in NU (Never-Used) for most of GSC and ADV. But, in Gen 4, it got an amazing evolution in Gliscor. This bastard had actual bulk, a respectable movepool, and two of the best boosting moves in the game; Rock Polish and Swords Dance. This allowed Gliscor to be one of DDP OU's staples. It was a fantastic stall breaker, cutting through many balance teams that laid down entry hazards and had generally bulky/stally Pokemon. Then when BW rolled around, the Dream World (an event which gave Pokemon unique abilities) gave Gliscor Poison Heal. Its here than Gliscor truly found itself to be an OU presence. Poison Heal, if given the right matchups, was EXTREMELY frustrating to deal with. It became relentlessly dominant in the matchups that it excelled in fighting, but was unfortunately outclassed come BW2 with the introduction of Landorus-Therian, arguably the most toxic Pokemon in history for the suffocation of the metagame. It outclassed EVERY SINGLE GROUND TYPE IN THE GAME. Let that sink in. He just did everything Gliscor did but better. Granted, Gliscor was a pretty decent stall Pokemon, but it was still outclassed. Now Bisharp on the other, has had a pretty wild ride in both VGC and singles. It started out its life as a UU lifer, as it was too frail and had pitiful speed to boot. It had a decent typing, but it just couldn't keep up with the fast paced fighting types which dominated OU. Even with 120 attack and access to Swords Dance, it still wasn't enough. Now, in the transition to Gen 6, everything around it changed which caused Bisharp to rise up the tiering rung as legitimate OU Pokemon. Defog was buffed to removed hazards on both sides of the field, lowering the opponents evasion. Bisharp could switch in on a predicted Defog and get boosted to high heaven. Steel no longer resisted dark moves, causing Bisharp to easily prey on the numerous steels in OU with its vicious STABs. And finally, with the introduction of the fairy type, Bisharp had more victims than ever since it took neutral damage from fairies thanks to its part steel typing, and destroyed them with Iron Head.
