Shybit the Lizard is a super old lizard OC of mine made somewhere in the beginning of 2019. Okay, so maybe not that old, but the original art I made for him (see below) is quite old looking.

I decided today that I wanted to update Shybit's design and redraw him in my modern style to see how far I've improved since 2019, and I'm pretty happy with the results! I probably could have changed a lot more if I were to really put in my all in redesigning him, but this was meant to be sort of a minor update + new art style redrawing.

That being said, I did try to imagine what he might look like a bit older, since he looks like a literal baby in the old one, so I guess this also doubles as a glow up of some sort.

Yeah that was back when I first started drawing digital art at all. I was actually a Pixel Artist for a couple years before switching to Digital.
