This is a species of intelligent creatures that resemble octopuses. They have one large eye, 6 tentacle arms, and 2 thin, pointy legs. The unique feature about this species is it's ability to change it's physical form into that of any organic object or creature it's studied enough. They're not able to accurately replicate every feature of another species however, but will generally get the appearance down pretty well.

This species comes from a planet that resembles something similar to if you combined Earth and Venus; a terrestrial planet with solid ground, but an atmosphere of such thick, dense gas, that it's almost at a state in between gas and liquid. They thrive off of technology and are extremely inventive and hard working. The main downside of the species is the apparent lack of individuality, most naturally fit into a system of working on large projects together without much individual thinking. Those that do think on their own can take their own paths in their lives.

They communicate with each other by emitting electromagnetic waves at different frequencies. Much like how humans use their lips and tongues to shape different sounds for words, these use higher or lower frequencies to express words and communication. They have poor hearing and no ability to produce sounds of their own without shapeshifting, but they have impeccable senses of touch and sight, being able to see and feel the tiniest details of things.
