"Casting your light within the world..of light and serenity with your presence...

while also be casting a shadow from behind.. of malice and darkness...eclipsed of the sun and moon....

a goddess with a darker secret of a another entity....a second goddess...a twin perhaps... who shows no mercy to anyone.

cast your light to shun away the darkness... before the darkness consumes all..."

First Wallpaper Poster Artwork completed of both Tsuki and her eclipsed dark entity self - Hizashi

Honestly the outfit designs are more-so if Tsuki was in the world of Genshin this is what she'd look like with the outfit and such. Though I feel this particular outfit would probably come to play often, maybe it be her warriors goddess outfit? who knows! I love the outfit design I went with it and did my best to work with it on Hizashis part.

I love how this poster came out and I plan to make a print of this maybe mostly in metallic or holo. depending on the kinds that'll make this poster shine. (⭒•͈ 𓎺 •͈ )

So they embody the whole 'every light casts a shadow' trope, no? Hizashi is the darkness cast by Tsuki.

By the way, that radiance effect in the middle reminds me of that Magic card, Endless Sands. Did you use a lot of Airbrush, too, or is there a better brush for that kinda effect?

Awoken-Artist responds:

I think at first I was gonna have Hizashi be the shadow of Tsuki, but I went with Hizashi is Tsukis twin who is also themed of sun and moon much like tsuki - both reflecting their parents [the god of the sun and luna the goddess of the night]. I guess Hizashi is Tsukis shadow, but Hizashi can stand her own and she doesnt feel shes really tsukis shadow at all. she still holds her ground in a way she just has her own views and different things she does. shes a very vindictive goddess and loves to play around with the good and evil side even in other worlds they travel. i kind of wanna do something a little different? at least the best that i can with them! Hizashi may be a vindictive kind of villianous goddess but she loves her twin and is very protective of her and she knows when a line has been crossed that be something she knows its best not to.

I used alot of the air brush tool to give that softness of the light- with also using a seperate layer for the glow effect too. I thought of having the twins be back to back with some interesting lil things in the art [tsuki and hizashi somewhat reflecting their sun and moon theme. tsuki being hizashis moon twin, hizashi being tsukis sun twin. and a little nod to their names meaning]. kind of give the split glow effect in the middle like a portal-ish effect. maybe? I had to mess with the glows alot to get to where I felt it looked pretty good enough.
