For the past couple months I've been working on a webcomic called Godchain and the first chapter is already published with 35 pages!

True to its name, it's about gods and chains (metaphorical and physical) and Godchains, which are pacts that every person is born into. You get a small (or, more rarely, a lot) of magic power, but you have to obey a mandate from the gods that prevents a specific behavior (something like not drinking booze or not being able to whistle) or you die.

The story centers on a young man named Ira, from the mountain kingdom of Arkos, conquered a decade before the series begins. Their eastern neighbor, the Veturian Empire, now occupies the lands and demands taxes and resources from their new prize. Ira and the populace are poised to rebel, and this begins a series of events that shake the foundation of the entire world. Political machinations, individual motivations and deep mysteries about the nature of the gods and their relationship with humans are all at the heart of Godchain. There might even be some action and romance, too. If that sounds interesting to you, then welcome.
