FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFINALLY GOT THIS MOTHERFUCKER DONE AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Coming from someone who doesn’t paint squat, let alone minis, Tyranids seem like they’d be miles easier to pain on minis as opposed to drawing. Seriously, their designs have so many wtf details and greeblies that I want to shiv myself.

Drew the hive fleet’s resident Hive Tyrant (a Flyrant in this case), Baraqiel. Name derived from a fallen angel from the Book of Enoch, whose name means “Angel of Lightning” or “Lightning of God.” Also, a ripper for the general colors of non-elite Tyranid units within Kokabiel: Less important = less melanin.

Kokabiel really like shooty units, psykers, and (as seen in the last Tyranid drawing), Genestealers. This also means that they really like force weapons, hence the fancy two-handed two-headed bilhook-looking thing Baraqiel is holding. Fun fact, I originally called Baraqiel “Uriel,” hence the two-headed weapon, which was based off of Uriel’s swirling sword of fire.
