What is known is that the two are unequivocally loyal to their 'father' and his goals, and that they've inherited his gleefully malicious sadism against everything.

For being 'young' and artificial, the two are extremely powerful devils, and being two of the very few things Veral genuinely cares for, are often trusted above all others to carry out the sociopath's will in various capacities. While the two are equal in both physical and arcane might, in combat Malice holds a preference for using sorceries to torment his victims from afar with Mortis preferring to overwhelm them in brutal melee.
