Time is worse than death,death gives you a life to let you fear him, but time is the life you get and the feeling that while death is painless sometimes time keeps banging your head over and over and over just for the sake of it *Oh you remember that thing 8 years ago where you left your gf in house and she burned?.
Oh remember that time where you lost your plushie because you threw it off a cliff?
And that time where you took a shit choice and got stuck in a bad job?
Man now that i think it your life sucked...welp wanna remember some more *old times?*
Atleast this image gives you the certain thing of death but time may have other plans, why not letting you experience eons of time?

Why not letting you *KNOW* that while you are dead you will be forgotten like the other people that lived in your family and you know you cant do anything about it.
Death is just ending something, Time is letting you slowly become insane and warped but not letting you go, after all, why would he play fair with everyone when he has all the time he can get.
God is a being that plays with time or not, eons are the same for gods, they grow bored and dull and then times comes and boom no more gods because they have to give up their reason to be something and not become vegetal brainless machines.
In the End..Life is done by Death, and both need Time to exist or else why would he care about anything else than reminding you constantly that whatever you do, it will be pointless and scary to remember because you already know that whatever you choose will be used against you no matter what.

I assume those are zombies in the distance. Walking through a forest at night, probably lost, & arriving at a clearing where zombies are standing around would definitely be an "oh shit" moment.
