This suffers from pretty severe pancake shading and there are tons of noticeable jaggies that could be fixed. The what I'm guessing are vines could be better shapped, they feel very rough, very scribbled and unnatural, its the main source of jaggies in the piece. The clouds cause the overall readability to suffer, the sudden cuts into the towers from the clouds makes it look almost like the towers are actually severed there. The sword doesnt feel shaded, as the highlighted middle goes against the shading of the rest of the piece making it overall unnatural.

Second piece I did for Pixel Day 2018. Inspired by Shadow of the Colossus. Yes, that sword is supposed to be that big, it predates the tower by several million years.

In response to the thing about the towers looking severed and the whole thing looking jagged: Good.
It's supposed to look ruined and broken in almost every place except the sword, which I made stand out for this reason. Hence why the only tower with any shading on it is the one mentioned in the title. And as to the sword being shaded differently, that tends to happen when things are glowing.
Wow, this is really cool. Reminded me of old "Hexen" game. Just felt like its enemies will appear and attack)

Has a really "abandoned a long time ago" feel to it. I wonder what creatures await the one who comes for the sword and for what purpose. Dark colors seem just right for this piece.~

The sword's been there since those towers were just a mountain. The creatures who carved the towers out had no idea who it was for. The creatures before that are now only spoken about in rumours and myths. Thanks for the review.
