Leonidas IV was born into a royal family in the city of Rau, Lichtarth, in 1057. He had lived a pretty normal life with his family as a prince, but later, in 1081, his whole life changed after he barely managed to escape the massive siege that took the lives of everyone in his family. He soon discovered an ancient enchanted book on necromancy in an ancient rune in the mountains near the recently sieged city of Rau while on a hike. After reading through this book, he finally discovered something to live and die for, so he ended up pursuing his newfound destiny to become a very powerful necromancer. Later, he also discovered the mystical ability to manipulate blood. Leonidas was also a very close friend to Nakora Inferis and the mentor to Andruse I'Izium, and they've gone on many adventures together before he met his unfortunate fate in 1652 after he, along with Andruse and Nakora, fought a fierce battle against a strong entity that threatened the world as they knew it, and once it was defeated, Leonidas was found mortally wounded on the ground after sacrificing himself by taking a blade to the chest before lifting up his famed enchanted sword to strike a final blow to this malicious entity, which beheaded them and destroyed them once and for all. As Leonidas lay dying on the ground, all had reluctantly agreed to Leonidas' plan to put him somewhere in the mountains where he could be frozen over by the elements so he'd be able to go into a deep sleep and heal his wounds through a form of deep meditation, which would unfortunately take many centuries for him to fully heal. Before saying their heartfelt goodbyes, giving a few kisses, and sharing the stories of their adventures together, Nakora and Andruse soon left Leonidas there in the mountains, where he would remain until around the year 2244, when scientists from a secret military base nearby found him frozen in a glacier, so they ended up extracting him out of it and bringing his body to the lab to thaw him out and run some tests to discover who he is. Once his body temperature returned to normal, he spontaneously woke up as if nothing had happened and was really confused. The scientists managed to calm him down without the use of sedatives and made sure to communicate clearly with him without revealing their plans or anything secret about the place he was kept in. A few days had passed as he stayed in this base, and he was curious about the place, so he decided to sneak around by secretly stealing the keys off of a scientist, then unlocked the door and snuck out, only to see a bunch of unethical experiments take place in these designated rooms along the hallway as he looked through the windows of almost every single one before realizing that he was locked up here, so he decided to make a daring escape shortly afterwards, in which he made his way to the control room so he could try to free as many others as he could in the entire base, then soon banded up together with him taking the lead and began wreaking havoc on any scientists and guards that lied in their path to freedom.
