Name: Tiel Athaeun (tee-EL uh-THAY-oon)

Race: High Elf

Age: 18 years old

Occupation: Wizard (Apprentice)

Backstory: Tiel grew up in a small town to a loving mother (ranger) and father (apothecary). She began to show an affinity for magic at around 9 years old. However, she was still considered too young by the standards of the nearest elven schools of magic. So, wanting the world for their only daughter, Tiel's parents sent out letters, hoping to find a wizard who would teach her the ways of the arcane. None replied, save for an elderly human wizard. The young elf and the old man bonded quickly and she began studying at his tower. For nine years she diligently practiced and studied, doing particularly well in regards to defensive magics. And a little after her 18th birthday, her mentor decided that it was time for her to go out into the world and discover new spells on her own.

Personality: Kind, polite, humble, and (due to spending her formative years relatively secluded) she's more than a little naïve. Tiel is always willing to help those in need and is very diligent to complete any task she accepts. She only uses offensive magic as a last resort, preferring to find a diplomatic way to settle conflict. She does not eat meat (but isn't judgmental towards those that do), and does not like alcohol, but will drink on celebratory occasions.
