Chance is my Eladrin Artificer. Their story is long and complicated but that's cause they are my pocket character. If something happens to one of my characters I'm playing I can whip out Chance and be like. Here is everything I need to keep playing. So I often just keep toying with Chance and tweaking their background. They didn't even start as an artificer cause the rules for Artificer weren't around. They started as a Sorcerer/Warlock multiclass and specialized in creating items. When the Revised artificer was released I jumped on it even though the Alchemist and the Artillerist didn't really fit. I used the Artillerist till just a few days ago when they released the Battle Smith. Which is much more like the flavor I wanted for Chance due to the connection with their former patron when they were a sorceror/warlock. I've not fully fleshed out their iron defender yet so I only included their base design. So what is their patron? I won't elaborate in case I use them for something else but it came from the sky and is the reason for that nasty scar. Also you may have noticed my use of pronouns. Chance is in fact genderfluid. I'll go into more of this aspect of them in the future but I will put that under future drawings of them as I have already written a huge chunk of text.
