The King of Swords represents mental clarity, intellectual power, authority, or truth. Inverted it can also mean quiet power, inner truth, misuse of power, or manipulation.

The Boss is the leader of the secret Unit in charge of dealing with monsters and creatures around the world. She sits upon the throne metaphorically conveying her command, facing forward as if ready to confront whatever life throws at her. Even tight bodysuits. The upright sword on her right, symbolizes the conscious, rational mind. It is pointed upright and to the left, the side of the subconscious, intuitive mind. This symbolizes the Boss’s decisiveness, but also flexibility in all matters; while she makes decisions based mostly on her intellectual understanding, she stays open to his intuition. The King wears a blue tunic, symbolic of a desire for spiritual knowledge, and a purple cape, symbolic of his compassion and intellect. The back of the throne is decorated with butterflies and crescent moons symbolizing transformation. The trees behind her stand still, and the clouds have settled. The wind from the previous Swords court cards has died down, giving the impression of stability and clarity rather than the confusion of sweeping change.

Yep, clarity, power, authority.... until the crotch of her bodysuit ripped open from her nonchalant pose on the throne. She is not amused... Well, at least someone like her probably wears mature underwea- Oh, upon further inspection, those are tiger print panties. Not tiger stripe like those animal hide print undies that are trying too hard to be "primal or sexy", I mean chibi cute tigers with rainbows and leaves accompanying the prints. Well, at least the tigers printed on her undies aren't depicted doing Kung Fu. That might be even more embarrassing...
