The Showstoppers are rogues who used to be kittypets (they were show pets) who became part of the Clan after Felix let them in. however, this was not a free deal—the reason they were let in is because Felix and Bon made a deal that the Showstoppers can become part of the Clan if Bon agrees to kill anyone Felix tells him to. Bon is upgraded to Felix’s deputy because of this, which confuses the Clan since they don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. Susan, Rosemary, and Charles (this is an assumption towards twf actual canon) are killed because Felix worries they’ll find out about the children and/or Felix’s part played in Jack’s disappearance (assuming in canon he does have something to do with it which he likely does). after visiting the Moonstone and seeing visions of Sophie, Felix gets paranoid that Sophie is going to find out what he did and return to the Clan, so he orders Bon to check their borders and kill Sophie, however Felix’s description of her is very poor so Bon basically just kills any kittypets by the border, including Brian and Ashley (I purposely made Brian have a pattern similar to Sophie). each of the Showstoppers is haunted by Bon and Felix’s victims (if I continue to add to this au I’ll probably touch how this affects them in more detail later). something I particularly touched on here was Banny and Bon’s relationship—Banny is a very curious cat, and Bon often worries she’s going to find out about is and Felix’s deal, so he often shoves her off in annoyance, irritated by how easily she could find out. also idk how far I’m gonna go into this part of the au rn but Holly does exist of course and she and Banny become mates
