Not sure if this is the best first impression but whatevs, here is a sketch i made exploring what those sculptures no one seems to understand, are. however my interpretation seems to look a tad bit like a sandslash or sandshrew, i might return to this one to get it closer to the idea the sculpture portrays.

ps. the sculpture shown is from gen4 while there are two or three other variants, all different.
